21st Century Cures: A Critical Win for Patients

Learn more about the 21st Century Cures Act and the MI's Project FDA.

The passage of the 21st Century Cures Act is a critical win for patients, bringing America’s system for developing and approving new medicines into the 21st century. This will allow regulators, innovators, and researchers to develop customized cures that fit patients’ genetic profiles, lifestyles, and risk preferences. This is critical because it gives patients and their physicians more therapeutic options, and the opportunity to live longer and healthier lives. Hopefully, it’s a sign of what’s possible, too, when the parties come together and put patients first.
