Communications
Manhattan Institute’s Communications Department is responsible for promoting MI’s message across key media outlets—radio, television, print, and online news. Collegiate Associates play an important role in the department’s daily operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Building issue-specific lists of relevant journalists and other media research. Drafting and editing press releases and crafting pitches. Assisting with interview requests and events. Compiling a daily report of MI’s quotes, mentions, and features from major media outlets.
Required Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong writing skills
- Familiarity with various stylebooks, including AP and Chicago styles.
- Interest in the news cycle
- Passion for advancing liberty, personal responsibility, and market-oriented policy ideas.
