Thank you to the Committee for the opportunity to address you today. Before I begin, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the members of the prior panel, and their bravery in speaking out about the horrific violence perpetrated against them. Victims of hate crime deserve to be heard, and I applaud the Committee for giving them this platform.
