Center for the American University

Home

As Robert P. George of Princeton noted at our inaugural conference, there is now a great opportunity for philanthropists willing to commit themselves and their funds to reforming higher education. In order to make an impact on the largest number of campuses possible, the the Center for the American University and its Capitalism Project are seeking philanthropic partners.

The Center for the American University (CAU) aims to address problems on our nation's campuses and refocus these institutions of higher learning on the search for knowledge and truth. We seek to ensure that today's students—and tomorrow's leaders—are exposed to broader perspectives than are now currently available on most campuses with regard to both our nation's history and our economic system.

In addition to the Capitalism Project, the center houses a donor-advised fund—the Veritas Fund —and a web magazine, MindingTheCampus.com. The Center also produces a variety of publications and hosts conferences and events on varied topics concerning higher education.

If you are interested in supporting the Center for the American University, the Capitalism Project or any of its programs, please contact Vanessa C. Mendoza, J.D., Vice President of Development, at vmendoza@manhattan-institute.org.
